Jalapeño

Jalapeño is one of the peppers we would call mild.
Because it is slightly less spicy, Jalapeño lends itself to being used whole or half in some recipes.
Jalapeño is most commonly sold in red and green. The peppers are 4 to 7 centimetres long, with glossy skin and the shape of a cone. Incidentally, Jalapeño loses some of its spiciness when the seeds and membranes are removed.
